a little of that is missing so, its:

Longing is the core of mystery.
Longing itself brings the cure.
The only rule is, Suffer the pain.

Your desire must be disciplined,
and what you want to happen
in time, sacrificed.
--Rumi (translated by Coleman Barks)

it's from a reaaally old moleskine notebook. like before i knew what to do with a moleskine notebook and i got it when i was young at barnes and noble brick and mortar store. when that notebook was old and unused, i tore this out and kept this for a time. then it ended up so far, on two of my bedroom walls.

i wonder how many ppl actually do that kinda stuff, in their lifetimes, like read rumi, read ralph waldo emerson, try emily dickenson, all the while mystified by poetry but loving the ride.

i dunno, one day at a time.
