"well that's neat"

looks like i actually got ai/ chatbot working the other night, but never tested it out and forgot about it till just a little while ago. i remember my options were a little limited due to my video ram on the 1080ti video card (cuz of its age). i ended up having to figure out which driver version for my old card, and get those nvidia drivers, which linux was throwing a fit over and making things hard. that's a nice way of saying i lost my gui desktop for almost an hour i think, hehe :P.

i had given up on the 'ai' project the other night because i was trying to finish the setup by giving it a web interface, but i couldn't get that setup working. came close at first, but then it was just a fail.

so the chatbot is in the terminal/ command line. which, since it's linux, is pretty kewl, too :D.

Ok, that was just 'major cool' getting an ai chatbot working locally off my awesome/ old video card in linux, so i wanted to share, hehe.

i'll bid ye ~peace now

[EDIT]

i dunno, i suppose some ppl know about the ai stuff, so i'll offer some stuff i remember. i think i did an 8b model, llama3 ? and i guess the app is like ollama. so, i'm a duff tho, so don't quote me :x
