moment to strategize on effort~
it outperforms my next fastest pc (a once 'uber' desktop) with an intel i5-7600k cpu and once leet 4 sticks of 8gbs ram (32gb), by a factor of two, according to passmark scores:
i5-7600k: 2539/ 6820 (single thread/ multithread)
a18pro (macbook neo): 4091/ 12855 (single thread/ multithread)
the whole situation is insane right now. calls into question the validity of the whole linux setup. well, that's one path to think about it. it's possible i go ahead and install proxmox / linux onto the desktop as it's os, and run it as a server i guess ([EDIT]i am told, proxmox is made for running VMs(Virtual Machines)). that way i could learn more about running a server(s) and increase my linux skills and such, etc. heh.
i'm already overdoing it i guess in that regard, if i consider it plainly. i have two raspberry pi 4b's (i honestly forget 2 or 4gb ram, i think 2 tho), that i have running linux for server duties (etc). hehe, i should play with them more.
tbh, i've only recently become a little more confortable with navigating 'around' in the command line. i am, right now, referring to getting 'around' with ssh. but its all just 0's and 1's.
i'm really just wanting to relive the days of irc that i used to dream about. dreaming, that was nice respite, that was ages ago, and still, ages after i lived those days of irc. so, we'll see.
i was doing the window managers recently, like i think i mentioned, on the thinkpads, as a progression from the desktop environment (in my case, my fav de is xfce).
but what happens... the macbook neo happens i guess. somewhere in the whole insanity, i remember conversing with someone quite some time ago, about apple making a macbook with an iphone processor. and that was irl.
but such are things. irc spills over, from what i recall.
but its not anything special about that or anything else in specific.
it's just that if you go to the root of that end of the spectrum, 'thought's rule the world.' what does that mean ?
it means when you boil it down, what is there really to this world ? there is conversation. social interaction. there are members of our species communicating with other members of our species. and the most spectacular form of this communication (i am biased, i am authoring this angle now, and this is only my opinion) is thoughts. and when two members exchange thoughts (converse/ conversate) that is even kewler.
anyway, this can happen in any field too. like architecture, with their principles and community guidelines and such, they would (likely i guess, is this duff speculating then ?) have codes to follow for their interacting in their spaces*
anyway, just thinking out loud. freedom of thought is a thing
what do i do? i secretly wish for ~peace...
