~maintain the devices~ (nook)

Battery was biting the dust in my nook glowlight 3. That happens to be my ebook reader of last resort. That means, if shit hits the fan, that's my device for pirated material, if need be. So I had to take care of the battery situation. So I'm sharing this quick and painless maintenance project here in blog post form:

It was actually tricky removing the battery. Was quite glued down. Also made me a little nervous unplugging the old battery, but it worked.

Get this spanky new battery plugged in, and...

Looks like it's starting with 22% battery atp.

And it does work with battery (usb unplugged).

And right now, after a few minutes plugged into usb, battery level is at 32%. So I don't foresee any issues. Yay maintenance.
