well, yea, the case is new to me and 'first party' (?) it's quite a nice accident really
yes, it's a simple touch. i dunno how many of these things i've owned now

but its a new/used simple touch, cuz the simple touch i had first 'soft-modded' lost touch/screen support. but this new/used nook didn't seem to be doing good with battery, so I swapped the batteries in the two nook simple touches. in the process the newer [nst] came with a very nice nook cover/case. and i ended up ordering a fresh battery kit, but don't need it for now tho.

the nook simple touches are still my favorite, i think tho.
