it's a nice space away from digital in any case

this is the 'raiders of scythia' game that i am starting with

but here's our 'home base'. you guys can be on 'my team' :D

so the mat (the blue surface underneath) did arrive, and now i couldn't imagine trying to embark on this venture without a mat. i've had a thought to look online for info/tutuorials on rules/gameplay. but now i'm rather thinking to learn it 'on my own' with included instructions and trial/error.

it's a very nice (non-digital) space to be in, so far. so thought i'd share some pics, I had taken late last night, of my gaming setup.

im losing so far, but i get to be orange, so (?) ~peace -db [EDIT] had to take game down and put away. things just too cramped here, i think "nothing is ever easy"

broke out the analogue super nt. and paired the associated analogue DAC to connect it to the old CRT tv via component. everything seems to be in working order. so many games. it's so hard to settle into just one tho. but i like to try now and

got a mat on the way to cover the table top. this endeavor should help with the "digital burn-out" type of feeling, lately. ~peace -db [EDIT] Guess "viscounts" is 1-6 players. Thinking to try them in such an order, I think tho*
