but its a new/used simple touch, cuz the simple touch i had first 'soft-modded' lost touch/screen support. but this new/used nook didn't seem to be doing good with battery, so I swapped the batteries in the two nook simple touches. in the process

I have a longtime tried/true ebook reader, older than the last one I featured in an earlier post. It's this Barnes & Noble Nook Simple Touch. It features a microsd card slot, which I always liked. The thing is, B&N discontinued support of this model
