Another one of those 'goals/intentions:'

A large aspect of my life, is fighting against a mental disability I have. It's basically schizophrenia, but now it also has bipolar thrown in, so its 'officially' bipolar schizoaffective disorder. I'm pretty stable these days, and I've come a long way living with it over the years. But I still have to work at dealing with it.

For example, it makes keeping a job very difficult for me. But I have a part time job right now, that I've just made my 8yr anniversary at, where I'm only working a couple short shifts each week. But it's working well right now for me, and my psychiatrist told me I shouldn't add more days/shifts for now. fwiw.

Well anyway, one goal I am planning to work on, is getting myself a little more 'out there' into the real world a bit at this stage of the game. I have a bike, and I just got it tuned up, where the gears were not acting right, ever since I purchased the bike new. It's working very well and perfect right now. Here's a pic:

It's billed as a 'comfort bike,' where-as I'm used to mountain and hybrid bikes previously. This is definitely not made for speed. But I think this will work out well for me at this point. So now I've to deal with the anxiety of getting out into the world and onto pavement with it.

Yay goals. Onward, we go.
